Lutry, Sunday August 30
With excellent weather, well over a dozen participants learned the basics of this mostly recreational sport. Our coach and his colleage tought us not just the technique but also made us sweat with body reinforcement and balance excercises on the sandy shores on Lutry.
A second part, done indoor, we were competently introduced to the world of myofascia, the connective tissue already for a longtime recognized in osteopathy as a source of body dysfunction, but only recently more extensively researched. Adrian Hutiger, sports teacher from the University of Lausanne and shiatsu instructor showed us self myofascial release exercises that allow to neutralize and repair harmful tensions in the myofascial tissue net that is omnipresent in our body.
